Pastor Dale & Susan Jones
Pastor Dale A. Jones came to God in 1979, at the Apostolic Gospel Church (UPCI) in Duluth, Minnesota, at age 23. There, Dale met his wife Susan. They married in 1981 (now celebrating over thirty years of marriage!) and were blessed with a daughter, Stephanie, in 1982. The Joneses moved to Bismarck, North Dakota, where he came to assist David O. Walters from 1984 -1988. In June of 1988 they answered the call to start a church in Park Rapids, MN and spent the next five years reaching and teaching the lost of Northern Minnesota. In his entrepreneurial spirit, Dale also built a thriving construction business to sustain his family and Kingdom work. During those five years they were also instrumental in helping two other pioneer works. In 1993 Dale accepted the pastorate of United Pentecostal Church of Alexandria, Minnesota, where he served for five years. Then, starting in 1998, he and his family evangelized throughout the Upper Midwest before joining the pastoral team at Greater Life Tabernacle in 2004. Many people have come to know Christ through Pastor Jones’ passionate, vibrant and enthusiastic preaching.
Dale has served five years as the Sunday Director for the Minnesota District of the United Pentecostal Church International, as well as on many other various Sectional and District committees. He has preached children and youth camps and various conferences and seminars. Twice he preached conferences and guest lectured at the Scism Bible Institute, Pokara, Nepal.
